Legacy of the 54th Social Justice and the Shaw Memorial

A diverse group of activists protested the Vietnam War at the Memorial in August 1969. Over 250 anti-war demonstrators walked the Freedom Trail to mark the 24th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
